I recently watched 30 Century Man, a film about Scott Walker. If you are unfamiliar as I was with Scott and his music I would suggest taking a look at this. I watched it from my laptop on Netflix. I must say that he is quite eccentric. I can't even say that I enjoyed his new musical forays however I still found myself interested in where this documentary was going.
I recognized a string sample used by UNKLE in "Reign" which caught my ear. It is a beautiful string accompaniment from Scott Walker's "Farmer In The City". See if you spot it too.
I also watched this video from Skeeter Davis which tears me up. I love her voice.
